2. Les Miserables - 2012. This movie was - in my opinion - the most hauntingly beautiful movie ever made. I literally could not move from my seat when it ended. I was spellbound.
4. Almost Famous - 2000. Not only is this one of my favorite movies of all time, it also gave me one of my favorite quotes of all time - from Lester Banks: "The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what we share with someone else when we're uncool."
5. Little Children - 2006. I was excited to see this movie as it stars a favorite actor from my teenage years - Jackie Earle Haley. Having not done a movie since 1993, he just happened to be "remembered by" the director who called him in for an audition. He received an Oscar nomination for his role. This is a fantastic movie.
6. American Beauty - 1999. For anyone who ever considers having an extra-marital affair - you should watch this movie first. AWESOME.
7. Pretty Woman - 1990. No matter how hard I try, this movie ALWAYS makes the cut. I guess it's just the hopeless romantic in me. Who doesn't want to be swept off her feet by a rich man who just wants to take care of you...?
8. He's Just Not That Into You - 2009. Why Not? It makes me happy.
9. Brokeback Mountain - 2005. A very brave movie. It made me want to be more courageous. It broke my heart. I can't imagine loving someone so much but hiding it forever. Well, actually,.....never mind. This movie just spoke to me in a way I can't explain.
10. Jerry Maguire - 1996. I love this movie for a million reasons. One of which is the Bruce Springsteen song with the Jerry Maguire track laid down. I know, Lame...
